FEW days ago I received email through flickr asking if I wouldn’t mind submitting one of my photos to this guide of sorts. Sure, I said. Today I found out they included it.. Here it is. Photo I took at the last Big Day Out when Muse where playing, not that you can see them in it! Just the big orange stage and crowds. Funny thing about all this is that it features next to Auckland’s clothing label called Muse… That’s when I went huh? No further comments.
WHY oh why people spend money and time to make movies to show me man making love to a dead and dissected pig; eating competitions followed by minutes of puking; stuffing dead people all rolled into one movie?
What should be a ‘normal’ reaction when you see someone strapped to a machine, pumping drugs into oneself and one by one removing each organ and then sawing himself before chopping off his head and arm? It shouldn’t be laughter, but interestingly enough that’s what viewers thought would be appropriate upon viewing such scene. Oh yeah, and I paid to see that.
I wish there were some sort of previews for the International Film Festival. Otherwise it’s hit and miss. The movie blurbs are a bit too vague. Not even getting into Destricted. Whole lot of men pleasuring themselves with weird background music (music is a bit of a stretch) including crying babies. Only about 20% out of it was mildly amusing. Today I’m seeing Inland Empire.
EVERY now and then I check email for my technologically challenged mum. Not very exciting, but it was funny to see that xtra’s spam filter managed to catch its own email. Good job!
AS much I as I would like one, I think the whole world is a bit over saturated with all the posting about the device. And it’s only the beginning. For the people who can’t it have it yet, here’s a lillte fun video found on What Do I Know. Enjoy!

Blindspott ended the silence on their last album and now, after 10 years, they’re ending it all.
Their last concert is on 25th of August and the Powerstation, and of course I’ll be there.

FINALLY they turned red. Took ages. Planting them in a shade didn’t help I’m sure. They are going in my spinach & feta cheese pie today. Mmmmm..
ONE of those silly things. The useless IT thing of the Internet world… Some say it’s ‘away message for grown ups’. Beats myspace for sure. I’m getting a bit addicted now, but really don’t have that much time to update it every 5 seconds as some do. Anyway, here’s the link.
